2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON)tEQUES-
ING PER1I.USSION TO CONSTRUCT AND MAINTAIN CERTAIN CONDUITS IN
3 THE CITY .oF LOS ANGELES.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

5 WHEREAS.. the construction of the projected Downey Road underpas
6 will necessitate the relocation of certain conduits now located in the City of
7 Vernonl and
8 WHEREAS., said conduits cannot adequately or conveniently be
9 constructed or maintained within the City Umits of the City of Vernon;
10 NOW.. THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon finds and
12 declares that the relocation of certain conduits cannot be provided within the
13 City limits of the City of Vernon and that said conduits may be conveniently
14 located within the City limits of the City of Los Angeles .

SECTION 2:
That said conduits to be constructed and main-
16 tamed by the City of Vernon are Water Main Relocation in Downey Road.

SECTION 3:
That said conduits are to be relocated in Downe
18 Road from 655 feet to 1721 feet South of North City Boundary.

SECTION 4:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
20 requests that permission be granted by the City of Los Angeles for the reloca-
21 tion of the conduits described herein in the City Boundary of the City of Los
22 Angeles.

SECTION 5:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
24 certify to the passage of this Resolution~ and thereupon and thereafter the sam
25 shall be in full force and effect..
26 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 6th day of April., 1965.
