A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON DETER-
MINING.A NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL.cmCULATION~.. AUTHORIZING A
PUB LICATIONOF NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING IN THE SAME~ AND
SCHEDULING A PUBLIC HEARING .FDR THE ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE
NO. 769.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS". Ordinance No. 769 of the City of Vernon relating to the
adoption of the Uniform Building Code has been read for the first time by title
only at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Vernon". held on
June 1. 1965; and
WHEREAS". pursuant to Section 50022.3 of the Government Code of
the state of California". a notice of said hearing must be published in a news-
paper of general circulation in or nearest to the City of Vernon;
NOW~' THEREFORE~' BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:

That the City Council of the City of Vernon does
15 hereby determine that the Los Angeles Daily Journal is a newspaper of general

16 circulation nearest to the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That said City Council does hereby schedule a
18 public hearing relating to the adoption of Ordinance No. 769 of the City of
19 Vernon on the 20th day of July. 1965. at 1:30 o'clock P.M.~ in the City Council
20 Chambers of the City of Vernon". located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue~ Vernon".

SECTION 3:
That said City Council authorizes and directs
23 the City Clerk to publish a Notice of Public Hearing". a copy of which is attacl:e
24 tc) this Resolution and incorporated herein by reference. in said Los Angeles
25 Daily Journal pursuant to Sections 50022.3 and 6066 of the Government Code
26 of the State of California. .

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
SECTION 4:
"
certify to the passage of this Resolution". and thereupon and thereafter the sam
shall be in full force and effect.

7 MOving. Removal". Conversion". Demolition". Occupancy" Equipment" Use".
8 Height". Area" and Maintenance of Buildings or Structures in the City of Vernon
9 State of California. and Providing for the Issuance of Permits and Collection
10 of Fees Therefor; Declaring and Establishing Fire Districts; Providing
