A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEP
ING THE BID OF CENTRILlNE DIVISION. RAYMOND INTERNATIONAL INC.
FOR CLEANING AND CEMENT LINING THE 49TH STREET WATER lI.IAIN
FROM ALAMEDA STREET TO SANTA FE AVENUE. IN ACCORDANCE wtTH
CONTltACT NO. 314.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ClTY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEltEAS. Contract No. 314 was approved by the City Connell of
the City of Vernon by R~solution No. 2773. and pursuant thereto sealed bids
were opened on June 15. 1965; and
WHEREAS.. said buts were referred toR. H. King. Superintendant
Water & Sewer Systems. who has reported to the City C01lIlCil under date of
June 29, 1965. recommending that a contract be awa.rded to Centri1ine Division

Raymond ~ternationa1 Inc. for the sum of $11. 858. ao. it being the lowest bid
received meeting the contract requirements;
NOW" THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the City Conneil of the City of Vernon does
16 hereby award the Mntract in accordance with the recommendation of B. ~
17 King, and authorized the execution of a contract with Centriline Division.
18 Raymoncl International Ine. for cleaning and cement lining the 49th Street water
19 main from Alameda. Street to Santa. Fe Annue. in accordance with Contract No.

20 314 heretofore approved by the City Council of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That all other bids are rejeetecl. and the City
22 Cle:rk is hereby instructed and direeted to return all checks 01" drafts to
23 unsuccessful bidders.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage of this Resolution.. and thereupon and thereaftctr the same
shall be in full foree and effect.
