ING THAT NO OBJECTIONS WERE MADE TO THE PItOPOSED ANNEXATION
3 DESIGNATED AS "PACKERS ISLAND ANNEXATIONll.
4 THE CITY COUNcIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, public hearing was heard on March 151' 1966 for the
6 purpose of hearing protests against the annexation of "Packers Island Annexation' ..
7 and;

WHEItEAS.. 0-9. written or oli'al protests were made regal'ding said
9 annexation;

NOW. THEREFORE....BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
The City Council of the City of Vernon declares
12 that majority pr.otest has not been made to the proposed annexation territory
13. designated as uPackers Island Annexation".

SECTION 2:
The City Council furtheli' declares that all.of the
15 requirements for the annexation of uninhabited property have been complied with.
16 That the evidence of such compliance is onfileint}le office of the City Clerk of
17 the City of Vernc>rr.

SECTION 3:
The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shaU
19 certU'y .to the passage of this Res.olution, and thereupon and thereafter the same
20 shaU be in full force and effect.
