WDREAS, on Odober 5, 1965, the Vernon Paving Company was
7 a,warded, the contrad for heater remixing and asphalt resurfacing of certa.in
8 streetsl maccliU'dance with Contract No. 316 of the City of Vernon; and

WHEREAS." D. D. Grayson, Traffic Engineer, has reported to the
10 City Council under date of April 71 19~6;hat the work has been completed and
l1recomme.nds,thatthe wo:rkbe accepted and payment made to the Conuactor m :
12 accordance with the agreement;,

That partial paYJll,ents of.$84, 226. 64 have been
18 made;, and the rema:ing amount in the sUm of$51 632.'f)6is payable thirty-five (35)
19 days after the adoption of thUs Resolution, and the City Council hereby direcu
20 payment of said sum to .the. Contractorl Vernon Paving COmpany.

The City Clerk of the City of Vernon .shall ce
