ING THE BID OF CENTRILINE DIVISION~ RAYMOND I.NTERNA TIQNAL.. INC~

ALAMEDA STREET _TO. SANTA FE A VENUE.. IN ACCORDANCE WITH CQNTRAC

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, Contract No. 320 was approved by the City Council~! the
'1 City of Vernon by Resolution No. 2825.1 and pursuant thereto sea~ed bids were
8 opened on May 3, 1966; a.nd
9 WHEREAS.. said bids were referJ:'ed to R. H. King,. Superintendant
10 Iwater & sewelo Syatema, who ha$ reflorted te the Ci~ Council under .thOdateof
11'IMay 13.. 1966, recommending that a contract be awarded to CentrUine ~!Vislon~
12 Raymond International., Inc. for the sum of $14.1.357.001 it being the lowest bid
13. received meeting the contract requirements;

NOW" TR,EREFQRE., BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council or the City of Vernon does
16 her~by award thecontr.act in accordance w#h. the recommendation of R. H. King..
17 and authorized the execution of a contract with CentrUine Divi1iloIi# Raymond
18 International.. Inc._ for cleaning and ~ement :Lining the 25th Street water main from
19 lameda Street to Santa Fe Avenue.. in accordance with. Contract No. 320 hereto-
20 fore approved by the City CouncU of the C!ty or Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That aU other bids are rejected.. and the City Clerk
22 hereby instructed. and directed to return aU checks or drafts to UnSuccessful

SECTION 3:
The .City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify
25 to the passage of this geso~ution.. and thereupon and thereafter the sameshaU be
26 in full force and effect.
