NO. 317 OF THE CITY O:F. VERNON.

5 THE CITY COUNCiL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, on Mal'ch 15.. 1966" B. & P. Trucking Company was
7 awarded the contract for l'econstructing 26th Street. 795' East' of SQto street to
8 381' West: of Downey Road, in aCCOl;'dance with Contract No. 317 of the City of
9 Vernon; and

WIfE:REAS, D. D. Grayson.. Traffic Engineer~ has reported to the
11 City Council uncie);; date of June 14" 1966, that the reconstruction has been com:-
12 pleted and recommends that the. work be accepted and payment made to the
13. contractor 1naccordance with the agreement.

NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:
That thereconstructiotl of 26th Street.. 795' East
, ,
16 of Soto street t.o 381' Wes.t of Downey Road be.. and the same is hereby accepted
17 in accordance with Contl'act No. 317 hel'etofore approved by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2:
That a partial payment in the amount of $7,650..00

19 has been made,. that a partial payment of $46,260.67 is now due and payable, and
20 the remaining fUteen per.cent(15%), or the sum of $9,513.65 , is payable thirty-

21 five (35) days after adopti.on .of this Resolution, and the City Council hereby

22 directs! paym.eat of' .saidsums to the Contractor" B., & P. Trucking Company.
