WHEREAs. on February 15.1966. the Globe Construction and B. &
8 P. Trucking Company was awarded the contract for improving Santa Fe Avenue -
9 North City Boundary to Pacific Boulevard; 27th Street -East of Santa Fe Avenue;
10 28th Street -- East of Santa Fe Avenu.e; 30th Street -- East of Santa Fe AveIlue.. in
11 accordance with Contract. No. 304 of the City of Vernon~and..-

WHEREAS.. D.D. Grayson, Traffic Engineer.. has reported to the
13. City Council. under date of June 17.. 1966li' that the work has been completed and
14 recommends that the work be accepted and payment made to the cont1"actor in
15 accordance with the agreement;

NOW II THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1:
That the improvement of Santa Fe Avenue --
18 North City Boundary to Pacific Boulevard;_ 27th Street - East of Santa Fe Avenue;

20 and the same is hereby accepted in accordance with Contract No. 304 hfilre.tofore

23 have Peen made. that a partial payment of $50. 754.07 is now due and.payable..
24 and the remaining fifteen pel"cent(15~), or the sum of $20,000.35.. is payable
