2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPrING
THE WORK OF CLEANING AND CEMENT LINING THE 25th STREET WATER DIN
'.0 IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 320 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, Centriline Division, Raymond International Inc.,
6 was awarded the contract for cleaning and cement lining of the
7 25th Street water main in accordance with Contract No. 320 of the
8 City of Vernon; and
9 WHEREAS, R. H. King, Superintendent Water and Sewer
10 Systems, has reported to the City Council under date of August 12,
11 1966, that the work of cleaning and cement lining of 25th Street
12 has been .completed and recommends that the work be accepted and
13 payment made to the Contractor in accordance with the agreement;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION'!': That the work of cleaning and cement lini:ng
16 of the 25th Street. water main be and the same is hereby accepted
17 in accordance with Contract No. 320 heretofore approved by the City
18 of Vernon.
SECTION 2': That a. partial payment of $11,944.87 is now
due and payable, and the remaining fifteen per cent (15%), or the
sum of $2,107.92, is payable thirty-five (35) days after the
adoption of this Resolution, and the City Council hereby directs
payment of said sums to the Contr~ctor, Centriline Division,
Raymond International, Inc.
SECTION' '3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
26 certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and there-
27 after the same shall be in full force and effect.
