2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE CONSTRUCTION OF 'fELL NO. 15 IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO.
'.3 318 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 ~RBAS, Roscoe Moss Company was awarded the contract
6 for the construction of Well No. 15 in accordance with Contract
'1 No. 318 of the City of Vernon; and
8 WHEREAS, R. H. King, Superintendent Water and sewer
9 Systems, has reported to the City Council under date of August 12,
10 1966, that the work of construction of Well No. 15 has been
11 completed and recommends that the work be accepted and payment
12 be made to the Contractor in accordance with the agreement;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BB IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1:: That the work ofconst:I'Uction of Well No.
15 15 of the City of Vernon be and the same is hereby accepted in
16 accordance with Contract No. 318 heretofore approved by the City
17 of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That a partial payment of $60,638.49 is now
19 due and payable, and the remaining fifteen per cent (15%), or the
20 sum of $10,700.91, is payable thirty-five (35) days after the
21 adoption of this Resolution, and the City Council hereby directs
22 payment of said sums to the contractor, Roscoe. }loss Company.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
24 certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and
25 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
26 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 16th day of August, 1966.
