RESOLUTION NO. 2857
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE BIDS ON. CONTRACT NO. 324, COVERING SCHEDULES I TO IV, IN-
CLUSIVE FOR WELL NO. 15 - EQUIPMENT AND SITE IKPROVEBNT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Contract No. 324 was approved by the City
Council of the City of Vernon by Resolution No. 2845, and pursuant
thereto sealed bids were opened on August 16, 1966; and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to R. H. King, Superin-
tendent Water and Sewer Systems, who has reported to the City
Council under date of September 1, 1966, recommending that contract
be awarded to various companies for the lowest bids received
meeting the contract requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BElT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City ofVernoJl,
15 does hereby award the following contracts covering Schedules I to
16 IV, inclusive, of Contract No. 324, and authorizes the execution
17 of contracts to the following companies, for the following amounts:

- Furnish and install one 200 h.p. deep-well
centrifugal pump with motor, plus other
miscellaneous work as detailed in Schedule
I of the Special Provisions.

11 after the same shall be in full force and effect.
