accordance with, C'ontract No. 321 of the City of Vernon, and

14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1': That the work of heater remixing and asphalt
16 resurfacing of certain streets be and the same is hereby accepted
17 in accordance with contract No. 321 heretofore aPPJ:'ovedby the
18 City of Vernon.

SECTION' ,2: That a partial payment of $19,383.23 has
20 been made, ,and tha1;,a partial payment ofd $53,770.87 is now due and
21 payable, and that the remaining fifteen per cent (15$), or the
22 sum of $12,909.55 is payable thirty-five (35) days, . aft~r the
23 ad<>ptionof this Resolution, arid the City Councilherepy directs
24 payment of,said'sums to the contractor, Vernon Paving Company.

S"ECTION 3': The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
26 certify to the passage of this Resolution, and the.reupqn and
