RESOLUT10N NO. 2904
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF CERTAIN AGREEMENTS BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, PERTAINING TO THE ACQUISITION
BY SAID CITY OF THE ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION FACILIT:tES IN T.BE
PACKERS ISLAND ANNEXATION . ..
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has presented to this Council
two agreements, both dated June 6, 1967, and
WHEREAS, said agreements pertain to the method of deter-
mining compensation to Southern California Edison Company for the
property proposed to be condemned pursuant to case No. 906,147,
being a case filed in the Superior Court of the State of California
for the County of Los Angeles, and
WHEJ.U;AS, said agreements also provide for the payment of
any applica.ble sales or use tax in the event that the same shall
be assessed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SE:CTIONl: Tha.t the City Council of the City of Vernon
18 does hereby authorize and direct the Mayor and City Clerk of the
19 City of Vernon to execute said agreements as referred to above, and
20 to forward the same to Southern California Edison Company for
21 execution, and that the form and content of said agreements be and
22 the same here by is approved.

SECTION 2: The City Clerk of the City of V~rnon shall
24 certify to the Passage of this resolution, and thereupon and there...
