, 2 A RESOLUTION OF. THE CITY COUNCIL OFTd CITY OF VERNON CONTINUING
THE RETENTION OF PAUL P. HENDRICKS AS CONSULTING ELECTRICAL
'.3 ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, the City of Vera on is in aeed of a Consulting
6 Electrical Engineer to insure the proper epera.tioa of the Vernon
7 Light and Power System, and
8 WHEREAS, . Paul P. Iiendricks is faailiar with sa.id Light an
9 Power System,and has previously served the City as CGnsulting
10 Electrical Engineer,
11 NOW t THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That the retention of Paul P. Hendricks as
13 Consulting Electrical Engineer for the City of Veraon is hereby
14 continued.

SECTION 2': That the duties of said Paul P. Hendrickssha 1
16 be to work with the City Couacil of the City of VerMR, aad advise
17 the same regarding the operation of the Light and Power System.f
18 the City of Vernon.

SECTION '3: That said Consulting Electrical Engineer of t e
20 City of Vernon is hereby retained at a salary of $1,700.00 per
21 month, pa.yable in advance, cORlDlencing July 1, 1967, plus. a reim-
22 bursement of a.ny moneys advanced or expended by said Co.sUl.tiag
23 Electrical Engineer on behalf of the City of Veraeafor necessary
24 and reasonable expenses in the performa.B.ce of his services fortb.e
25 City, exclusive of effice fa.cilities, secretarial services, local
26 telephene charges,a.nd leca.l automobile transportation.

SECTION 4: Resollltion No. 2867, and all Resolutieas ia
28 conflict hereWith, are hereby repealed as of June 30, 196'1.

SECTION 5: The Ci-ty Clerk ef,the City of. Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this Resolution, and thereupon and there-
after the same shall be in :full force and effect.
