RESOLUTION NO. 2910
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, ACCEPTING
THE RECONSTRUCTION OF BOYLE-STATE STREETANDRANDOBPH STREET
INTERSECTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 315 OF THE ClnOF
VERNON.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, Vernon Paving Company was awarded the contract
7 for the reconstruction of Boyle-State Street and Randolpl1 street
8 intersectien., in accordance with Contract No. 315 of the City of
9 Vernon, and
10 WHEREAS, D. D. Grayson, Traffic Engineer, has reported
11 to the City Council under date of JU,ne 19, 1967, that the work of
12 recollstructien of Boyle-State, Street a,nd Randolph street inter-
13 sectien has peen completed, and recommends that the work be
14 accepted, and payment be ,made to the contractor in accordance with
15 the agreement,
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE, IT RESOLVED:

SECTION T:That the work of reconstruction of Boyle-
18 State Street and Randolph Street intersection be and the same
19 hereby is accepted inaccordaBce with Contract No. 315 heretofore
20 approved by the City of Verllon.

SECTION '2: That a partial payment af $41,44:6.40 has been
22 made, and that a partial paYlIlente:f$3,230.00 is now due and pay-
23 able, and that the remaining fifteen per cent (l~), or ,the .sum of
24 $7,884.07 is payable thirty-five (35) days aft,er the adoption of
25 this resolution, and the City Council hereby directs payment of sai
26 sums to thecentractor,Vernon Pavillg Company.

SECTION "3: The City Clerk o,f the City of Vel' nons hall
28 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon 8ndthere-
29 after the same sball be in full ,force and effect.
