RESOLUTION NO. 2946
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, ACCEPTING
THE BID OF C.T. & F.., INC. FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAE INSTALLATION AT
SLAUSON AVENUE AND BOYLE-STATE STREET, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT
NO. 330 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, Contract No. 330 was approved by the City
7 Council of the City of Vernon by Resolution No. 2930, and
8 pursuant thereto sealed bids were opened on February 6, 1968, and
9 WHEREAS, Said bids were referred to David D. Grayson,
10 Traffic Engineer, who has reported to the City Council under date
11 of February 15, 1968, recommending that the contract be awarded
121 to C.T. & F., Inc. for the sum of $14,120.00, it being the lowest
13 bid meeting the contract requirements,
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
161 does hereby award the contract in accordance with the recom-
17 menda.tions of David D. Grayson, Traffic Engineer, and authorizes
18 the execution of a contract with C.T. & F., Inc. for traffic
19 signal installation at Slauson and Boyle-State Street, in
20 accordance with contract NO. 330 heretofore approved by the City
21 Council of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That all other bids are rejected, and the
23 City Clerk is hereby instructed to return all checks or drafts
24 to unsuccessful bidders.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
26 shall certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon
27 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
28 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 20th day of February, 1968.
