2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, AMENDING
3 THE RULES AND REGULATIONS RESPECTING THE DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRIC
4 ENERGY SUPPLI15D BY THE CITY OF VERNON.
51 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
7 determined in compliance with Ordinance No. 766, that rules and
8 regulations respecting the distribution of electric energy supplied
9 by the City of Vernon shall be those rules and regulations of the
10 Southern California Edison Company applicable within the City of
11 Vernon, and

12 WHEREAS, Section 2 of said Ordinance authorizes the City
13 Council of the City of Vernon to incorporate such changes in the
14 rules and regulations applicable to electrical service, as may not
15 be in conflict with rate schedules, and
16 WHEREAS, said Section provides that such changes may be
17 adopted by resolution,
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
19 SECTION I: That the Southern California Edison Company
20 Rule No.2, Description of Service, Sheets Nos. 3939-E, 3940-E,
21 and 3941-E shall be adopted as Rules and Regulations applicable to
22 electric service to the consumer within the City of Vernon.
23 SECTION 2: That any other rules previously adopted by
24 the City Council of the City of Vernon, which may be in conflict
25 with the rules set forth in Section 1 above, are hereby repealed.
26 SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
27 is directed to keep and maintain three (3) copies of the above
28 mentioned Rules and Regulations applicable to electric service in
29 the City of Vernon, in the office of the City Clerk of the City of
30 Vernon, and to make said Rules available on request for examina~
31 tion in said office.

SECTION 4: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
2 shall certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
3 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
4 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 5th day of March, 1968.
