RESOLUTION NO. 2976
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING THE
AMOUNT OF MQNEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAX-
ABLE PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS A REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS OF SUCH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
COMMENCING JULY 1, 1968, AND TO PAY THE BONDED OR OTHER INDEBTED-
NESS OF SAID CITY OF VERNON, OR ANY PORTION OR DISTRICT THEREOF.
6 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the amount of money necessary to be
8 raised by taxation upon taxable property within the City of Vernon
9 as a revenue to carryon the various departments of said City for
10 the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1968, and to pay the bonded or
11 other indebtedness of said City, or any portion or district there-
12 of, is hereby fixed in the sum of Three Hundred, Fifty-Nine
13 Thousand, Eight Hundred, Thirty-Two Dollars ($359,832.00).
14 That said sum so fixed for the purposes hereinabove set
15 forth does not exceed the limit fixed bylaw for such purposes.

SECTION 2: There being no newspaper printed, published
17 and circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby
18 directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall
19 post same, or cause same to be posted, in three of the most public
20 places in the City of Vernon, to wit: The northwest corner of
21 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner of Leonis
22 Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin board in the
23 lobby of the City Hall of said City, located at 4305 Santa Fe
24 Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, Los Angeles County, California,
25 and that immediately upon the posting thereof this Resolution shall
26 be in full force and effect.
