RESOLUTION NO. 2980
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ADOPTING
A LICENSE FEE SCHEDULE WHICH SHALL APPLY TO ALL LICENSES GRANTED
PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 796.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 796 specifies that the City
Council shall establish a schedule of license fees and shall set
the amounts of license bonds and liability insurance;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the issuance fee for each license shall
10 be one thousand dollars ($1,000), payable prior to the granting of
11 the license.

SECTION 2: That the annual renewal fee for each license
13 shall be one hundred dollars ($100).

SECTION 3: That the policy or policies of public
15 liability and property damage insurance shall be kept in the
16 following limits:
17 A. General public liability insurance for injury in
or death of one person - five hundred thousand dollars
18 ($500,000) .
19 B. General public liability insurance for injury to
or death of persons occasioned by anyone accident or
20 occurrence- one million dollars ($1,000,000).
21 C. Property damage insurance including property of
the City of Vernon - one million dollars ($1,000,000).

SECTION 4: All of the foregoing policy or policies of
24 public liability and property damage insurance shall name the
25 City of Vernon as a co-insured, and the same shall be subject to
26 the approval of the City Attorney of the City of Vernon, and shall
27 further provide that said polley or policies may not be cancelled
28 without giving the City of Vernon at least ten (10) days written
29 notice of the insurerts intention to so cancel said policy or
30 policies.

SECTION 5: That the faithful performance bond payable
32 to the City of Vernon shall be in the sum of five thousand dollars

SECTION 6: That in addition to the above, the licensee
3 shall pay all fees and deposits necessary to obtain the required
4 encroachmentpermi ts.

SECTION 7: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
6 shall certify to the passage of this resolutio~, and thereupon and
7 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
8 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 17th day of September, 1968.
