RESOLUTION NO. 2996
:3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, FIXING
THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING AND PRESCRIBING THE NOTICE TO BE
3 GIVEN, AND DECLARING A NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL CIRCULATION WITHIN
THE CITY OF VERNON.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 That the Los Angeles Daily Journal is a daily news-
7 paper of general circulation within the City of Vernon.
8 That notice of hearing on the petition for the variance
9 of Sol Teichman and Sam Teichman be noticed by publication one
10 (1) time at least ten (10) days prior to the date upon which said
11 petition is set for hearing.
12 That notice shall also be given by mailing a postcard
13 notice containing the same information as in the published notice
14 not less than five (5) days prior to the date of hearing to all
15 owners within a radius of three hundred (300) feet of the property
16 for which a variance is requested.
17 That the 18th day of February, 1969, at the hour of
18 1:15 o'clock P.M., in the Council Chamber of the City Council in
19 the City Hall, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, in the City of
20 Vernon, is the time and place set for the hearing on the petition
21 for a variance.
22 That the name and address of the applicants is as
23 follows: 2035 East 46th Street, Vernon, California 90058; Sol
24 Teichman and Sam Teichman.
25 That the property for which the variance is requested
26 is commonly known as 2024 East 45th Street, in the City of Vernon,
27 and is legally described as follows: Lot 5, Block 5, of New
28 Vernon Tract.
29 That said parcel of land is situated on the south
30 side of 45th street, between st. Charles Street and Hawthorne
31 Street, all within the City of Vernon, County of Los Angeles,
32 State of California.

1 At the time and place of said public hearing as set
:3 forth above, the City Council of the City of Vernon will hear the
3 same, at which time anyone interested will be heard. In addition,
4 written objections may be filed with the City Clerk of the City
5 of Vernon, at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon, California 90058, at
6 any time prior to said hearing.
7 The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall certify to
8 the passage of this resolution and thereupon and thereafter the
9 same shall be in full force and effect.
10 ADOPTED and APPROVED, this 21st day of January, 1969.

22 No. 2996, was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of
23 Vernon, and approved by the Mayor of said City, at aD3gular
