1 RESOLUTION. NO. 3004
:3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, ACCEPTING
THE INSTALLATION AND CONSTRUCTION OF SEVENTY-SIX (76) FEET OF
3 SEWER IN 26TH STREET, PURSUANT TO AN AGREEMENT DATED JANUARY 27,
1969, BETWEEN THE CITY OF VERNON AND TRIANGLE STEEL & SUPPLY
i! COMPANY, INC.
5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, under date of March 27, 1969, Arthur E. Nelson,
7 Jr., City Engineer of the City of Vernon, reported to the City
8 Council that all work~as performed in accordance with a permit
9 issued pursuant. to an agreement dated January 27, 1969, between
10 the City of Vernon and Triangle Steel &; Supply Company, Inc., and
11 recommends the acceptance thereof, and
14 NOW, THERE~QRE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That,the improvements, being the construction of
16 seventy-six (76) feet of twelve inch (12") sewer in 26th Street is
17 completed in accordance with a permit granted pursuant to an
18 agreement dated January 27, 1969, and the same is hereby accepted
19 by the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That Triangle Steel & Supply Company, Inc. has
21 agreed to pay for the inspection costs, permit costs and engineer-
22 ing fees in connection with said improvement and, upon payment of
23 the same, the City Treasurer of the City of Vernon is hereby
24 authorized and directed to return to Triangle Steel &; Supply
25 Company, Inc. their check in the amount of $2,000.00, being a
26 deposit to assure compliance with said permit pursuant to said
27 letter, after the foregoing have been paid.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
29 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
30 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
