A RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, EXPRESSING
lTS APPRECIATION TO DAVID D. GRAYSON FOR MANY YEARS OF SEJtVICE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, David D. Grayson bas bee. employed b, tbe City
of Veraon for many ,ears, aad has mo.st recently acted as Traffic
Engineer and superintendent of streets, aDd
WHEREAS, many projects h~ve beeD involved during David
D. Grayson's tenor as a department head, and
WHEREAS, said David D. Grayson bas seen fit to tender
bis resignation, and to adapt his talents for tbe entire Soutbern
California community,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION l: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby take this opportunity to express its appreciatioll for
tbe many years of service rendered to the city of Vernon, its
inhabitants, and property owners, by David D. Grayson.
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City ofVertlon
takes this opportunity to wish David D. Grayson contillued succe.$
in whatever endeavors he may undertake.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is
hereby autborized and directed to forward a copy of this reso1utio
to David D. Grayson.
SECTION 4: That the City Clerk of the City of VernOD
is hereby directed to certify to the passage of tbis resolutioD,
