2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, APPROVING
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1969-70.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF'IHE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That the budget requirements for the fiscal
6 year 1969-70 for the different departments and for the bond inter-
7 est and bond redemptions of the City of Vernon be, and the same
8 are hereby approved as follows:

SECTION 2= The City Council of the City of Vernon hereby
8 finds that certain items provided for in individual departmental
9 budgets are in the nature of community prolDotion and education,
10 and the City Council of the City.of Vernon further finds that
11 the same are for the best interests of the City of Vernon and
12 constitute a reasonable expenditure of public funds.

SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon is hereby
14 directed to certify to the passag.e of this Resolution and
15 thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
16 effect.
17 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1st day of July, 1969.
