2 A RESOLU'flON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, EXPRESSING
ITS APPRECIATION TO FELIPE ACOSTA FOR MANY YEARS OF SERVICE.

4 I THE CITY COUNCIL 011' THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, FELIPE ACOSTA HAS BEEN EMPLOYED by tbfll city of
6 Vernon continually since June 6, 1952, and has most recently acted
7 as Utility Man II, Step 1, and
8 WHEREAS, said Felipe Acosta bas tender" his resignation.
9 effective as of the close of business september 30, 1969,
10 NOW, THERb'FORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of verbon
12 does hereby take this opportunity to express its appreciation for
13. the many years of service rendered to the City of Vernon by
14 Felipe Acosta.

SECTION 2: That the City council of the City of Vernon
16 takes this opportunity to wish to Felipe Acosta continued sUCCeSS
17 , in whatever pursuits he may undertake.
18 I SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon

19 1 is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of this
20 I resolution to Felipe Acosta.
