RESOLUTION NO. 3048
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, COMMENDING
EUGEWE V. HENRY FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF Th~ CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, Eugene V. Henry has been employed by the City of
6 Vernon from April 1, 1949 to this date, and
7 WHEREAS, said Eugene V. Henry is applying for a disability
8 retirement, effective November 1, 1969, and
9 WHEREAS, Eugene V. Henry has been a good working, con-
10 scientious and reliable fireman, whose loss will be deeply felt
11. by the City of Vernon,
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
13
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
14 takes this opportunity to commend Eugene V. Henry for his many
15 years of devoted service to the City of Vernon.
16
SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
17 wishes Eugene V. Henry continued success in whatever endeavors he
18 may undertake.
19
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
20 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
21 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
