RESOLUTION NO. 3053
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, COMMENDING
SAM C. CAPRA FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF VERNON.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, SAM C. CAPRA bas been employed by tbe city of
6 Vernon from Juae 1,1936 to this date,aad
7 WHEREAS, said SAM C. CAPRA is applying for a disability
8 retire.ent, effective December 1, 1969, and
9 WHEREAS, SAM C. CAPRA has been" conscientious and
10 reliable engineer with the Fire Department of the City of veraoa,
11 wbose loss will be deeply felt by the City of Vernon,
12 NOW, THERE15'ORE, BE.IT RESOLVED:
13 SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
14 takes this opportunity to CODUllend SAM C. CAPRA for bis many years
15 of devoted service to the Ci ty of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
17 wishes SAM C. CAPRA continued success in whatever endeavors he
18 may undertake.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
20 shall certify to the passage of this resolution and thereupon and
21 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
22 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of November, 1969.
