RESOLUTION NO. 3066
A RES9LUTIONOF THE CITY eOU~CIL' QF.rIm/CITY.OF VERNON, ACCEPTING
THE BID OF L.D.M. PIPELINE, INC... FOR JEWEL AVENUE (PRIVATE)
WATER AND SEWER LINE CONSTRUCTION IN THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, CONTRACT NO. 348 was approved by the City Council

of the City of Vernon.\. pursuant to Resolution 3052, and sealed
bids were opened on December 2, 1969, and
WImREAS, said bids were referred to Robert H. King,
Director of pUbliC Works, who has reported to the City Council
under date of December 30, 1969, recommending that the contract
be awarded to L.ll.M. Pipe Line, Inc. for the sum of $38,899.00,
being the lowest bid meeting the contract requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTlONl: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
15 does he~eby award the contract, in accordance with the recom-
16 mendation of Robert H. King, Director of Public Works, and
17 authorizes the execution of a contract with L.D.M. Pipe Line, Inc.
18 for Jewel Avenue (private) water and sewer line construction, in
19 accordance with Contract No. 348 of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That all other bids are rejected and the City
21 Clerk is hereby instructed to return all checks or drafts to
22 unsuccessful bidders.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
24 shall certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon
25 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
26 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 6th day of January, 1970.
