RESOLUTION NO. 3082
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFV~RNO!("ACCEPTING-
DELIVERY OF AN ASPHALT TRUCK, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO.
OF THE CITY OF ,~RNON. "
THE CITY COUNCIL,OFmE CITY OF VERNON RESOLyESAS'FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Central Motors Ford, Inc.. was aw.~ded the
contract for delivery of an asphalt truck in accordance with
Contract No. 345 of the City of Vernon, and
WmmgAS, R.H. King, Director of Public W()~ks, has
reported to the City Council under date of _arch 16, 1970, tha~
the delivery of said truck has been completed, and recommends
that the delivery be accepted and payment be made to;the supplier
in accordance with the agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the delivery of an asph~lt truck in
accordance with Contract No. 345 is hereby approved by the City
of Vernon.
SECTION 2: That a total payment in the amount of
$9,180.15 should now be paid to the supplier, Central Motors
f .FPrd, Inc.
SECTION.. 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Ve'rnon
,
s~all certify to the vaSsage of this resolution and thereupon and
thereafter. .the s,ame shall be in full force and effect.
