RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, ACCEPTING
THE BID OF PIPE LININGS, INC. FOR-WATER MAINLINING-PHASE III, IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 352, OF THE CITY OF VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Contract No. 352 was approved by the City
Council of the' City of Vernon, pursuant to Resolution No. 3079,
and sealed bids were opened on March 17,. 1970, and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to Robert H.Xing,
Director o.f Public Works , who has reported to the City Council
under date of .April 1, 1970, recommending that the contract be
awarded .to Pipe Linings, Inc., for the sum of $114,477.70, being
the lowest bid meeting the contract requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of .the City of Vernon
15 does hereby award the contract in accordance with the recommenda-
16 tion of Robert H. King,.Director of Public Works, and authorizes
17 the execution of a contract with Pipe Linings, Inc. for water
18 main lining-Phase III, in accordance with Contract No. 352 of the
19 City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That all other bids are rejected and the
21 City Clerk is hereby instructed to return all checks or drafts to
~2unsuccessful bidders.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
24 shall certify to the pa~sage of this resolution, and thereupon
25 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
26 ADOPTED and 'APPROVED this 7th day of April, 1970.
