RESOLUTION NO. 3096
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CONTINUING
THE RETENTION OF PAUL P. HENDRICXS ASCQNSULTING ELECTRICAL
ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF VERNON. .
THE CITY COUNCIL OFTIIE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, th~>C.ity ()fY~rnon is in need of a Consulting
EI.ctrical Engineer to insure the proper operation of ~he Vernon
Light and Power Sy~tem" and
WHEREAS, Paul P. Hendricks is familiar with said Light and
Power System, and has previously served the City as Consulting
ELectrical Engineer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the retention of Paul P.Hendricks as
13 Consulting Electrical Engineer for the City of Vernon is hereby
14 continued.

SECTION 2: That the duties of said paul P. Hendricks
16 shall be to work with the City Council of the City of Vernon,
17 and advise the same regarding the operation of the Light and Power
18 System of the City of Vernon.

20 the City of Vernon is hereby retained at a salary of $1,900.00
SECTION 3: That said Consulting Ei~ctrical Engineer of
21 per month, payable in advance, commencing July 1, 1970, plus a
~2 reimbursement of any moneys advanced or expended by said
23 Consul t;ing Electrical Engineer on behalf of the. City of Vernon,
24 for necessary and reasonable expenses in the performance of his..
25 services for the City, exclusive of office facilities, secretarial
26 services, local telephone charges, and local.. automo.bile trans-

27 portation.
SECTION 4: Resolution No. 3024 and all resol.utions in
29 conflict herewith, are hereby repealed as of June 30, 1970.

SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
certify to the passage o.f this resolution, and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
