RESOLUTION NO. 4008
A RESOLUTION OF .THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING THE
AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY.TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAX-
ABLE PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS. A REVENUE TO CARRYON THE.
VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SUCH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1,1970, AND TO PAY THE BONDED OR OTHER
INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY OF VERNON, OR ANY.PORTION OR DISTRICT
THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the amount of money necessary to be
8 . raised by.1Jlxation upon taxable property within the City of
9 Vernon as a revenue to carryon the various departments of said
10 City ,fo.rthe fiscal year commencing July 1, 1970, and to pay

11 the bonded or other indebtedness of said City, or any portion or
12 district. thereof, is hereby fixed in the sum of Four Hundred, Two
13 Thousand, Six Hundred, Forty-Nine Dollars ($402,649.00).
14 That saj.dsum'so,fixed for the purposes. hereinabove set
15 forth does not exceed the limit fixed by law for such purposes.

.$'ECTION2: There.beihg no newspaper printed, published
17 and circulated. in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby
18 directed to certify to, the passage of this resolution and shall
19 post the same, or cause the same to be posted, in three of the
20 most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: The northwest
21 corner of 38th street and santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner
:-a 2 of Leonis BOulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin
23 board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City, located at
24 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, LOS Angeles
25 County, california', and that immediately upon the posti:ng thereof
26 this resolution shall be in full force and effect.
27 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 18th day of August, 1970.
