THE CITY COUNCIL OFtTHE ,CITYO:F '~.FNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the ~ity council of the City of Vernon did, on
February 21, 196~< )?y Resolution No..24l3 duly adopted, place
allterri toryann,exed to the City of Vernon subsequent to
November 5, 1958 into the City of Vernon Tax District No. 2
and place all that portion of the city of Vernon as it existed
prior to November 5, 1958 into city of Vernon Tax District
No.1, and
WHEREAS, the. need for two separate tax districts no
longer exists.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the tax districts heretofore known as
17 "City of Vernon Tax District No. 111 and IICity of Vernon Tax
18 District No. 2" are hereby consolidated into one district
19 and the sam.e shall hereafter be designated as "City of Vernon
20 Tax District No. 1".
21 SECTION 2: That the boundaries of the city of Vernon
22 Tax District No. 111 are hereby designated to be the same as
23 the boundaries of the City of Vernon on the date of the ad-
24 option of this resolution.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to
26 send a certified copy of this Resolution to the County Assessor
27 of the County of Los Angeles and to the State Board of
28 Equalization.

SECTION 4: That Resolution No. 2413 and all other
30 resolutions or.parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are
31 hereby repealed.

SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall

certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 4th day of. Noveniber ,1970.
