2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON,
ACCEPTING THE BID OF PIPE LININGS, INC., rOR WATER MAIN
3 LINING-PHASE IV , IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 355 OF
THE CITY OF VERNON.

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, contract No. 355 was approved by the City of
7 Vernon and pursuant to Resolution No. 4013, sealed bids were
8 opened on october 20, 1970, and
9 WHEREAS, said bids were referred to R. H. King,
10 Director of Public Works, who has reported to the City Council
11 under date of October 29, 1970, recommending that water main
12 lining,-Phase IV, be awarded to Pipe Linings, Inc., for the
13 sum of $134,.974.15, being the lowest bid meeting tbe contract
14 requirements,
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That the city council of the city of
17 Vernon does hereby award the contract in accordance with the
18
. recommendation of R. H. King, Director of Public Works, and
19 authorizes the execution of a contract with pipe Linings, Inc.,
20 in accordance with contract No. 355 of the city of Vernon.

SECTION '2: That all other bids are rejected and the
22 City Clerk is instructed to return all checks or drafts to
23 unsuccessful bidders.
24 SECTION. 3:. That the City Clerk of the city of Vernon
25 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution, and there-
26 upon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and
27 effect.
