AFFIRMING VACATION POLICIES FOR EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF VERNON.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon has
6 heretofore adopted Resolution No. 4019 establishing holidays for
7 the City of Vernon, and
8 WHEREAS, certain employees of the Police, Fire, and Water
9 Departments of the City of Vernon hav.e duties which are such that
10 they do not .have or receive time-off benefits of regular legal
11 ho lidays ,
12 NOW, THEUFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
13 SECTION 1: That it is the intention of the City Co\Jttcil
14 of the City of Vernon that Resolution No. 3022 be and the S8ltl.e
15 hereby is in full force and effect and shall remain the policy
16 of the City of Vern~n for certain employees of the Police, Fire,
17 and Water Departments as set forth in said resolution.

SECTION 2: that all other portions of Resolution No.
19 3022 be and the same hereby are in full force and effect.
20 SECTION 3: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
21 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
22 thereafter the same shall be in. full force and effect.
