5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
RESOLUTION NO. 4025
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF VERNON, ACCEPTING
THE BID OF, C. T. and.F., INCORPORATED FOR TRAFFIC $IGNAL INSTALLA-
TION ATSANTAFEAVlNUE AND 27TH STREET, IN ACCOBDANCE ,WITH
CONTRACT NO. 358 OF THE CITY OF VERNON.
6 WHEREAS, Contract No. 358 was approved by the City of
7 Vernon; pursuant to Resolution No. 4018 sealed bids were opened
8 on December 1, 1970, and
9 WHEREAS, said bids were referred to Robert H. King,
10 Director of public Works, who has reported to the City Council
11 under date. of December 3, 1970, recommending that the traffic
12 $igna1 installation at Santa Fe Avenue and 27th Street be
13 awarded to C.T. and F., Incorporated, for the StJm of $14,700.00,
14. being the lowest bid meeting the contract requirements,

15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
17 does hereby award the contract in accordance with the recommenda-
18 tion of Robert H.King, Director of Public Works, and authorizes
19 the exee-utionof a contract with C.T. and F., Incorporated, in
20 accordance withtontract No. 358 of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That all other bids are rejected and the
22 Ci.tyC1erk is instructed to return all checks or drafts to
23 unsuccessful bidders.
24 SECTION' '3: ,1 rThat the City Clerk of the City of Vernon

25 shall certify !,tothe passage of this resolution, and thereupon
