RESOLUTION NO. 4039
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF VERNON,
AUTHORIZINg. TlJ$. SUBMISSION OF A REQUEST FOR THE ALLOCATION OF
FUNDlitl,JOM. THE . PUBLIC UTILITIES COlvJMISSION OF THE STA'rE OF
CALIF~IA. .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Robert II. King, Director of Public Works, has
submitted a request to the City.Council,dated March 31, 1971, and
WJ:IEREAS, said request urges the City Council to request
an allocation of funq.sfrg1tlthe Public Utilities Commission in
the maxiuJUftpmount.of $1,853.75, for Crossing No. 2H-l.6,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
19 does hereby approve the recommendation of the Director of Public
20 Works, dated March 31, 1971, and authorizes and directs the Mayor
21 and City Clerk of the City of Vernon to execute and forward to
22 the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California, a
23 request for the allocation of funds in the form set forth and
24 attached to the letter of the Director of Public Works referred
25 to i.above.

SECTION 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
27 shall certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon
28 and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
