DELIVER:YOF ONE 85 FOOt SNORKEL FIRE TRUCK FROM. P. E. VAN PELl',' INC
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNONRESOLVF.;S AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS,purstiant to Resolution No. 3050 the City of
Vernon agreedt9Purchase one 85 foot Snorkel Fire truck from
i? E. Van Pelt, Inc., and
WHEREAS, the same has been delivered and found to be
satisfactory, and

WHEREAS,L.C.Husted, Fire Chief, under date of May't4"
1971, has recommended. that said truck be accepted;
. NOW" THElt~FORE BE . IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That the 85 foot Snorkel Fire truck
delivered on April 28, 1971 by P.E. VanPelr, Inc. in acc~rdanee

with contract No. 343 be aceeptedby the City of Vernon.
SECTIoN 2: That a partial payment of $61,459.59 is
payable upon the adoption of this resolution and the rema:itl~ng_
ten per cent. (10%) or the sum of$6,828.83 is payable tb:lrtyfive'
(35) days after the adoption of this resolution,. and the Cit"

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of
Vernon shall certify to the passage of this resolUtion, and
thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force.and effect.'
