RESOLUTION 4056
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON,ACC~PTING
THE WORK OF CONSTRUCTING TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT SANTA FE,AVlmmAND
27TH STREET PURSUANT TO CONTRACT NO. 358 OF THE CITY OF. VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, c. '1'. & F. Incorporated was awarded.the, con-
tract for constructing traffic signals at Santa Fe Avenue and
27th Street pursuant to. Contract No. 358 of the City of Vernon,an
WHEREAS, Robert H. King, Director of Public ~orks, haS
reported to the City Council under date of June 1, 1971 that said
work has been completed and recommends that the work be accepted
and payment be made to the contractor in accordance with the
agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the work of constructing traffic sig-
15 nals at Santa Fe Avenue and 27th Street, pursuant to Contract No.
16 35.8 of the City of Vernon, is hereby approved and acc~pted by the
17 City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That partial. payments in the amount of
$12,818.00 .pave been made and that the remaining fifteen (15%)
per cent of .the total contract amount, or the sum of $2,262.00,
is payable thirty-five (35) days after the adoption of this
