2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CONTINUING
THE RETENTION OF PAUL P. HENDRICKS AS CONSULTING ELECTRICAL
:3 ENGINEER OF THE CITY OF VERNO~.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 WHEREAS, the City of Vernon is in need of a Consulting
6 Electrical Engineer to insure the proper operation of the Vernon
7 Light and Power System, and
8 WHEREAS, Paul P. Hendricks is familiar with said Light
9 and Power System, and has previously served the City as Consulting
10 Electrical Engineer,
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

SECTION 1: That the retention of Paul P. Hendricks as
13 Consulting Electrical Engineer for the City of Vernon is hereby
14 continued~

SECTION 2: That the duties of said Paul p. Hendricks
16 shall be to work with the City Council of the City of Vernon,
17 and advise the same regarding the operation of the Light and Power
18 System of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 3: That said Consulting Electrical Engineer of
20 the City of Vernon is hereby retained at a salary of $2,000.00
21 per month, payable in advance, commencing July 1, 1971, plus a
22 reimbursement of any moneys advanced or expended by said
23 Consulting Electrical Engineer on behalf of the City of Vernon,
24 for necessary and reasonable expenses in the performance ofhls
25 services for the City, exclusive of office facilities, secre-
26 taria1 services, local telephone charges, and local automobile
27 transportation.

SECTION 4: Resolution No. 3096 and all resolutions in
29 conflict herewith, are hereby repealed as of June 30, 1971.

SECTION 5: The City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
31 certify to the passage of this resolution, and thereupon and
32 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
