RESOLUTION NO. 4067
A RESOLUTION OF THE 'CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING
THE AMOUNT. OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE
TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS A REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE
VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SUCH MUNICIPAL CORPORATION FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 1971, AND TO PAY THE BONDED OR OTHER
INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY OF VERNON, OR ANY PORTION OR DISTRICT
THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the amount of money necessary to be
raised by taxation upon taxa.b1e property within the City of
Vernon as a revenue to carryon the various departments of said
City for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1971, and to pay
the bonded or other indebtedness of said City, or any portion or
district thereof, is hereby fixed in the sum of Four Hundred, Six
Thousand, Four Hundred Fifty One Dollars ($406,451.00).
That said sum so fixed for the purposes hereinabove set
forth does not exceed the limit fixed by law for such purposes.
SECTION 2:
There being no newspaper printed, pUb-
1ished and circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is
hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution and
shall post the same, or cause the same to be posted, in three
of the most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: The
northwest corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the north-
east corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on
the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City,
located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, all in the City of Vernon,
Los Angeles County, California, and that immediately upon the
posting thereof this resolution shall be in full force and
effect.
