1. RESOLUTION. NO. 4068
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING THE
RATE OF TAXES AND LEVYING THE TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
3 JULY 1, 1971.
4 THE C1TY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
5 SECTION 1: That for the purpose of raising the sum of
6 money to be raised by taxation upon taxable property in the City
7 of Vernon as revenue to carryon the various departments of the
8 City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1971, the rate of
9 taxes for the different portions of the City of Vernon are
10 hereby fixed and the taxes are hereby levied on all taxable
11 property in the different portions of said City for the fiscal
12 year beginning July 1, 1971, in the number of cents upon each
13 one hundred dollars of the assessed value of said property, as
14 assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the Board of
15 Supervisors of said County of Los Angeles, and for the several
16 funds and purposes set forth in the following table, the taxes
17 levied upon property in each portion of said City hereinafter
18 described and designated by a district number, being at the
19 rates set opposite the designations of the respective funds in
20 the column headed by the district number which is prefixed to the
21 description of each such. portion of said City, as hereinafter
22 stated.

DISTRICT NO.1: All that portion of the City of Vernon
24 included within the boundaries of the City of Vernon
25 on the 4th ,day of November, 1970.

.1 hereby directed to certify to the passage of this resolution,
2 and shall P9st,the Same or cause the same to be posted, in three
3 of the most'public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: The
4 northwest ,cornero.f 38.th Street and Santa Fe Avenue ;at the
5 northeast corner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and
6 on the bulletin board in the lobby of the City Hall of the City
7 of Vernon, located at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, in said City, and
8 that immediately upon the posting thereof this resolution shall
9 be in full force and effect.
10 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 17th day of August, 1971.
