RESOLUTION NO. 4085
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE WORK OF PAVD'IENT MARKER INSTALLATION ON BANDINI BOULEVARD
DOWNEY ROAD TO ATLANTIC .BOULEVARD, PURSUANT TO CONTRACT NO. 3t4 OF
THE CITY OF VERNON.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Walker Coating Company and/or Walker Coating Incor-
porated was awarded the contract for the work of pavement marker
installation on Bandini Boulevard, Downey Road to Atlantic Bou1e-
9 vard, pursuant to Contract No. 364 of the City of Vernon, and

WHEREAS, Robert H. King, Director of Public Works, has re-
11 ported to the City Council of the City of Vernon under date of
12 December 15, 1'71, that said work has been completed and recommends
13 that the work be accepted and payment be made to the contractor in
14 accordance with the agreement,

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1:
That the work of pavement marker installation
17 on Bandini Boulevard, Downey Road to Atlantic Boulevard, pursuant
18 to Contract No. 364 of the City of Vernon is hereby approved and
19 accepted by the City of Vernon;

Section 2:
That no partial payments have been made anI a
21 final partial payment of Seven Thousand One Hundred Twenty Nine
22 Dollars and Sixty Four Cents ($7,12'.64) is now due and owing and
23 that the remaining Fifteen percent (15%) of the Contract amount, or
24 the sum of One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Eight Dollars and Seven-
25 teen Cents ($1,258.17) is payable Thirty Five (35) days after the
26 doption of this Resolution, and the City Council hereby directs the
27 ayment of said sums to Walker Coating Company and/or Walker Coating
28 ncorporated.
29 Section 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
30 ertify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
31 fter the same shall be in full force and effect.
