WHEREAS, Contract No. 369 was approved by the City Council I

of the City of Vernon, pursuant to Resolution No. 4122, and sealed !

WHEREAS, said bids were referred to Robert H. King, Directorl

of Public Works, who has reported to the City Council, under date I
!
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
bids were opened on September 5, 1972, and
of September 13, 1972, recommending that the Contract be executed
with AMERON, INC., PI:PE LINING DIVISION, for the sum of One Hundred
Ninety Seven Thousand Four Hundred Ninety Two Dollars and Twenty I
I
Cents ($197,492.20), being the lowest bid within the Contract requir~-
ments, I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon 1
does hereby award the Contract in accordance with the recommenda~1
of Robert H. King, Director of Public Works, and authorizes the ,
execution of a contract with AMERON, INC" PIPE LINING DIVISION, in I

Treasurer is hereby directed to return to unsuccessful bidders any I
I
I
I
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall I
certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
accordance with Contract No. 369 of the City of Vernon.
SECTION 2:
That all other bids are rejected and the City

cashiers or certified checks deposited with said bids.
