A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON REQUESTING
THE SUBMISSION OF A REQUEST FOR THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FROM THE
PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, Robert H. King, Director of Public Works, has
submitted a request to the City Council, dated December 19, 1972,
and
WHEREAS, said request urges the City Council of the
City of Vernon to request the allocation of funds from the Public
Utilities Commission in the maximum amount of Fifteen Thousand
Nine Hundred Dollars ($15,900.00) for Crossing No. 3A-3.2, however
not to exceed one-half (1/2) of the City of Vernon's actual costs
of constructing protection at said Crossing, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interests of the City
of Vernon, and for the benefit of the general public of the State
of California, that said request for allocation of funds be
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Vernon to execute and forward tol
the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California a requestl
for the allocation of funds in the form set forth and attached to.
SECTION 1:
That the City Council of the City of Vernon
does hereby approve the recommendation of the Director of Public
Works, dated December 19, 1972, and authorizes and directs the
the letter of the Director of Public Works referred to above.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and eff~ct.
