RESOLUTION NO. 4145
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON ACCEPTING
THE BID OF SAFETY STRIPING SERVICE FOR PAVEMENT STRIPING FOR 1973,
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CONTRACT NO. 371 OF THE CITY OF VERNON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Contract No. 371 was approved by the City
Council of the City of Vernon, pursuant to Resolution No. 4139 and
sealed bids were opened on the 6th day of February, 1973, and
WHEREAS, said bids were referred to Robert H. King, Di-
rector of Public Works who has reported to the City Council, under
date of February 13, 1973, recommending that the Contract be
executed with Safety Striping Service for the sum of Six Thousand
Five Hundred Seventy Dollars and Thirty Cents ($6,570.30), being
the lowest bid meeting the Contract requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
16 does hereby award the Contract in accordance with the recommendatio
17 of Robert H. King, Director of Public Works, and authorizes the
18 execution of a contract with Safety Striping Service, in accordance
19 with Contract No. 371 of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That all other bids are rejected and the
21 City Treasurer is hereby directed to return to unsuccessful bidders
22 any cashiers or certified checks deposited with said bids.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
24 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
25 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
26 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 20th day of February, 1973.
