RESOLU!ION NO. 4150
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON IMPLEMENTING
'rHE ENVIR.ONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT OF 1970 AS AMENDED IN 1972.

4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

WHEREAS, Assembly Bill No. 889 has been adopted by the
6 Legislature of the State of California in regular session in 1972,
7 and
8
WHEREAS, said State Laws authorized the implementation of
9 said legislation by the adoption of appropriate ordinances or
10 resolutions by local governmental agencies,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon,
13 except as provided for herein, does hereby adopt and incorporate by
14 reference for all purposes as if set forth in full the State Guide-
15 lines adopted by the State of California pursuant to Assembly Bill
16 No. 889.

SECTION 2: That the City Council of the City of Vernon does
18 hereby determine that the "decision-making body" set forth in the
19 State Guidelines at 5 15073 is "The City Council of the City of
20 Vernon".
21 SECTION 3: That the City Council of the City of Vernon does
22 hereby add to 5 15073 of said State Guidelines the following:
23
"(e) The issuance of encroachment permits, pursuant
24 to applicable ordinances and resolutions of the City of
25 Vernon."

26 SECTION 4: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon shall
27 certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and there-
28 after the same shall be in full force and effect.
29 ADOPTED and APPROVED this 20th
