RESOLUTION NO. 4170
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING THE
AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION UPON THE TAXABLE
PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS A REVENUE TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS OF SUCH MU1UCIPAL CORPORATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COM-
MENCING JULY 1, 1973, AND TO PAY THE BONDED OR OTHER INDEBTEDNESS
OF SAID CITY OF VERNON, OR ANY PORTION OR DISTRICT 'lHEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the amount of money necessary to be
8 raised by taxation upon taxable property within the City of Vernon
9 as a revenue to carryon the various departments of said City for
10 the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1973, and to pay the bonded or
11 other indebtedness of said City, or any portion or district there-
12 of, is hereby fixed in the sum of Seven Hundred Forty Six Thousand
13 Seven Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($746,700.00).
14 That said sum so fixed for the purposes hereinabove set
15 forth does not exceed the limit fixed by law for such purposes.

SECTION 2: There being no newspaper printed, published
17 and circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby
18 directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution and shall
19 post the same, or cause the same to be posted, in three (3) of the
20 most publlc places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the northwest
21 corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; the northeast corner
22 of Leonls Boulevard and Paclfic Boulevard; and on the bulletin
23 board in the lobby of the City Hall of said City, located at 4305
24 Santa Fe Avenue, all in the City of Vernon, Los Angeles County,
25 California, and that immediately upon the posting thereof this
26 Resolution shall be in full force and effect.
27 ADOPTED and APPROVED thls 21st day of August, 1973.
