RESOLUTION NO. 4171
A RESOLUTION OF THE CIn COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON FIXING THE
IlATE OF TAXES AIm. LEVnNG THE TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR... BEGINNING
JULY 1, 1973
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That for the purpose of raising the sum of
~ney to be raised by taxation upon taxable property in the City
of Vernon as revenue to carryon the various departments of the
City for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1973, the rate of
taxes for the different portions of the City of Vernon are hereby
fixed and the taxes are hereby levied on all taxable property in
the different portions of said City for the fiscal year beginning
July 1, 1973, in the number of cents upon each one hundred dollars
of the assessed value of said property, as assessed by the County

14 Assessor and equalized by the Board of Supervisors of said County
15 of Los Angeles, and for the several funds and purposes set forth
16 in the following table, the taxes levied upon property in each
17 portion of said City hereinafter described and designated by a
18 district number, being at the rates set opposite the designations
19 of the respective funds in the column headed by the district num-
20 ber which is prefixed to the description of each such portion of
21 said City, as hereinafter stated.

included within the boundaries of the City of
Vernon on the 4th day of November, 1970.

SECTION 2: There being no newspaper printed, published
31 and circulated in the City of Vernon, the City Clerk is hereby

directed to certify to the passage of this Resolution, and shall

1 post the same or cause the same to be posted, in three of the
2 most public places in the City of Vernon, to wit: the northwest
3 corner of 38th Street and Santa Fe Avenue; at the northeast cor-
4 ner of Leonis Boulevard and Pacific Boulevard; and on the bulletin
5 board in the lobby of the City Hall of the City of Vernon, located
6 at 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, in said City, and that immediately upon
7 the posting thereof this Resolution shall be in full force and
8 effect.
