RESOLUTION NO. 4192
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON REQUESTING
THE SUBMISSION OF A REQUEST FOR THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FROM THE
PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA (CROSSING
NO. 2H-0.9)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, ARTHUR E. NELSON, JR., Director of Public Works
submitted a request to the City Council of the City of Vernon,
dated December 11, 1973, and
WHEREAS, said request urges the City Council of the City
10 of Vernon to request the allocation of funds from the Public
11 Utilities Commission of the State of California in the maximum
12 amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Eight Dollars and Seventy
13 Five Cents ($3,508.75) for Crossing No. 2H-0.9, however not to
14 exceed One-Half (1/2) of the City of Vernon's actual costs of con-
15 structing Protection at said Crossing, and
16
WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interests of the City
17 of Vernon and for the benefit of the general public of the State
18 of California that said request for the allocation of funds be exe-
19 cuted,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Vernon
22 does hereby approve the recommendation of the Dir ector of Public
23 Works, dated December 11, 1973, and authorizes and directs the
24 Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Vernon to execute and for-
25 ward to the Public Utilities Commission of the State of California
26 a request for the allocation of funds in the form set forth and
27 attached to the letter of the Director of Public Works, referred to
28 above.

SECTION 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
30 shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
31 thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
