RESOLUTION NO. 4202
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA,
ORDERING THE CANVASS OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD
ONTRE 5th. DAY OFMAR.CB, 1974, TO BE MADE BY THE C:t'XY CLERK OF THE
CITY OF VERNON, CALIFORNIA.' .

5 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
6 WHEREAS, a regular general municipal election will be
7 held and conducted in the City of Vernon, County of Los Angeles,
8 State of California, on Tuesday, the 5th day of March, 1974, as
9 required by law; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Vernon desires
11 the canvass of said election to be made by the City Clerk of said
12 City;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERNON,
14 CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS
15 FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1: That pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the
17 Elections Code of the State of California, the canvass of the
18 regular general municipal election to be held in the City of Ver-
19 non, County of Los Angeles, State of California, on Tuesday, the
20 5th day of March, 1974, is hereby ordered to be made by the City
21 Clerk of the City of Vernon.

SECTION 2: That the City Clerk of said City shall, prio
23 to the 12th day of March, 1974, complete the canvass of the regu-
24 lar general municipal election to be held in said City on the 5th
25 day of March, 1974, and shall certify the results to this said
26 City Council on the 12th day of March, 1974.

SECTION 3: That the City Clerk of the City of Vernon
shall certify to the passage of this Resolution and thereupon and
thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 5th day of February, 1974.
